Emma, is our 3-year-old daughter who was born with a facial nevus. As her mother and primary advocate, I have become a stay at home mom in order to best help us handle her care. Her father works in computers at a local university. His job provides us with good insurance and enough vacation time so that we can spend her surgeries recouping together. We consider ourselves very lucky.

Surgeries Well, Emma, was not quite ready for surgery last month, so we reschuled for the spring. Hopefully this will be her last round of expansion surgery! Unfortuantely, due to the timing, we will not beable to go to the Nevus Outreach confrence in Texas. Just wondering if anyone is planning on going. I know that when we went to the one in Columbus two years ago, it was a great experience.
