No More Expanders! Wednesday, August 16, 2006 (02:54:44) Posted by Aaron Emma developed a hole in her skin after just one month of expansion. She had 95/250 cc filled in her expander and it proved to be enough to remove most of the nevus from her face. She will still need to undergo surgeries to remove some small areas ofnevus as wellas making sure everything looks right. The updated pictures can be found here. She is still pretty uncomfortable (this was her second surgery in about a month) but she's pretty tough and will be bouncing around the house very soon. This marks a major milestone in her short life and ours as we will no longer have to go through the skin expansion process again She still has a lot of work to go though, but this is really a giant step forward.
